The shop opened in 1969 under the impetus of Marthe and Jules Bréchu. At the time, it was a small shack in a corner of their vegetable garden. But several years later, thanks to Marthe Bréchu who made the business grow, the small shop expanded and moved to its current location. Later, in the 1970s, the children who had grown up also joined the family shop to continue to make it prosper. Today, the team has grown to include a mountain guide and several bootfitting experts. The shop also offers free ski lockers.

The Serre Chevalier ski area is particularly popular with skiers, with 80% of its runs at altitudes of over 2,000 metres.81 runs (13 black, 29 red, 26 blue and 13 green), served by 59 lifts, including the Serre Chevalier cable car. It offers a wide variety of landscapes, with forests, valleys, combes and summits.
