Welcome to Pra Loup, a ski resort strategically developed in the 1950s to boost tourism in the Ubaye Valley. Led by Honoré Bonnet, the coach of the French ski team, and the famous skier Émile Allais, the project saw the birth of its first infrastructure in the 1960s.

Pra Loup ski resort is divided into two distinct sectors. At Pra Loup 1500, you will discover charming residences inspired by traditional mountain architecture, carefully nestled in the forest for a peaceful stay experience. Pra Loup 1600, on the other hand, features a more modern architectural touch harmonizing with nature. This is also where numerous shops, including ski hire shops, bars, and restaurants are located. A tennis club and an outdoor ice rink are also available for vacationers.

Explore the 100 km of downhill skiing spread over 48 slopes offered by Pra Loup ski resort. With 4 black runs and 22 red slopes, experienced skiers will find plenty to enjoy. Beginners, after picking up their ski hire, can hone their skills on the 6 green slopes and 16 blue slopes of the ski area. With 19 ski lifts, the resort also offers a snowpark, 3 boardercross runs, 2 toboggan runs, and 2 fun tracks for children.

Once on the lake sector, enjoy breathtaking views of peaks exceeding 3,000 meters in altitude, such as the Grand Cheval de Bois or the Grande Séolane. You also have the option to switch to Val d’Allos – La Foux resort, forming with Pra Loup the Espace Lumière ski area, which offers an additional 80 km of slopes.
