Cesana/Sagnalonga resort

Located at 1300 meters above sea level in the foothills of northwest Italy, Cesana Sagnalonga ski resort is home to approximately 1000 year-round residents. Built in the Middle Ages, it has been welcoming vacationers from across Europe for many years, particularly during the winter season.

A Sports-Oriented Resort

Skiing is the centerpiece of Cesana. As part of the vast Via Lattea ski area, the resort features a bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton track. It also hosted some of the Winter Olympic events in 2006.

From the slopes, you can easily reach Sestrière area and Sauze d'Oulx ski slopes.

For adrenaline-seeking advanced skiers, the lifts on the Sestrière side invite you to reach Monte Motta at 2,823 meters above sea level. There, slopes with impressive altitude differences and memorable off-piste routes await. To top it all off, the panorama is breathtaking, offering views across the entire Hochtal valley.
