Located at an altitude of 1850 meters in the heart of the Southern Alps and at the gates of the Écrins National Park, the Risoul ski resort offers a ski area of 185 kilometers of slopes shared with the Vars ski resort.

The Forêt Blanche ski area

In the Hautes Alpes department, north of the Southern Alps, the 185 km of slopes of the Risoul ski resort will take you from 1650 m to 2850 meters above sea level.

The Forêt Blanche area, with its evocative name, is the result of the connection between Risoul and Vars ski slopes. Both resorts have combined their efforts to offer a modern ski area with 116 slopes to ski down under a magnificent blue sky. In Risoul, ski conditions are often optimal; snowfalls are intense and short-lived, quickly giving way to sunshine. This is the advantage of the dry and cool climate of the Southern Alps.

An ideal place to learn to ski, for both children and adults, thanks to a perfect beginner area and green slopes winding from one summit to the resort!

Not far away, the Les Orres ski area allows you to fully enjoy its warm atmosphere and various activities.
